Protein supplements are available in form of bars, powders and liquid. These are available in number of flavors like fruity, vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter, etc. Casein, whey, egg and soya are main sources used in protein supplements.

Whey proteins are by product formed during preparation of cheese. The main function of this protein is muscle mass building. Casein protein is a major component of milk protein. It accounts for 80% of milk protein. It is a great source for energy needs and building muscle power. Egg albumin is white of egg having high protein content. It is available in powder form. Persons having lactose allergy can go for egg proteins.
